We are not the building at the corner of Fernberg Road and Ellena Street, Rosalie. We use the building to meet to worship God, develop supportive friendships, and organise ministries that address real and critical spiritual needs.
We are not merely the group of people that meet on Sundays at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm. These meetings are run by the church but they are not the only times we get together and support each other.
We are a group of people, from diverse backgrounds who share a commitment to:
- Recruiting people from the community to be disciples for Christ (Matthew 28:18-20; Luke 24:45-47)
- Building up disciples to become mature people who are living in fellowship with God and each other (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 3:14-4:13)
- Contributing as disciples to the growth of Christ’s church and widening of his influence through various ministries that express God’s truth and love (John 13:34-35; Romans 12:3-21; Ephesians 4:14-16; Titus 2:11-14; 3:8)
We strive to honour and enjoy God in every area of our lives. We want everyone to receive the news that Jesus can rescue them from a condemned and wasted life and restore them to a real relationship with God.
